Chandigarh - The City Beautiful

Chandigarh, often referred to as "The City Beautiful," is a symbol of modern India, showcasing a perfect blend of urban planning and natural beauty. Designed by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, Chandigarh is the first planned city of independent India and stands as a testament to visionary design and meticulous execution. Located at the foothills of the Shivalik range, this Union Territory serves as the capital of both Punjab and Haryana, while maintaining its distinct identity.

Famed for its wide roads, green spaces, and architectural marvels, Chandigarh is an ideal destination for hosting vibrant community events like marathons. The city's serene and clean environment, coupled with a spirit of inclusivity and wellness, fosters a strong sense of community and encourages active lifestyles.

The city is home to iconic landmarks such as the Capitol Complex, Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, and Rose Garden, making it not just a place to live but an experience to cherish. Its neatly laid sectors are interspersed with parks and gardens, offering a unique mix of urban life and natural splendor. With a population that values fitness and outdoor activities, Chandigarh has become a hub for health-conscious individuals and sports enthusiasts alike.
